~My Saviour~
Listening to the clock as the last few minutes of last period ticked away. Damn, they couldn't go by fast enough... I suddenly felt a light tap on my shoulder. Turns out it was a spitball. Couldn't those bullies give me a break or something? Nope. Not a chance. The second the bell clattered, I was out the door rushing to my locker. And I made it... 4-32-14. My lock popped and I put my books inside.
Something in the corner of my eye distracted me. Thinking it were my bullies, I abruptly turned. Not a soul was there... I gulped and closed my locker. Starting for the double doors, I quickened my pace. Bursting through them, I started advancing home. I could have sworn I heard someones wings flapping... Not long before I was off campus, there they were, in their same spot, waiting for me.
"Sup Fray?" Ignoring them isn't an option. "H-hi...", I replied. For some reason, they burst into a laughing fit. "Haha! You're such a fucking faggot", one of them howled. My ears flattened. Just because I'm gay shouldn't mean anything to them... "Shut up, Hazel", I said. He turned to face me. "What'd you just say to me, bitch". he questioned. I just had to open my big mouth... Hazel punched me and I quickly fell to the pavement below.
The rest screamed in laughter. "Why don'tcha fight back queer", Hazel harshly asked with a smirk. I did nothing but hold the sore spot on my face. He growled and kicked me in my side. I screamed in pain. The others only watched it all go down. Suddenly, without warning, Hazel crouched down and wrapped his hands around my throat. "Ack?!" My squeak for help was barely audible. "Whoa Hazel...I thinking you're taking it too far this time...", one of the others spoke up. Oh? Now you freaking care?
"Shut up! This queer doesn't deserve to live!" The world around me started to spin and my body felt cold. I could tell by the evil smile plastered on Hazel's face, I wouldn't be getting out of this one... Or was I? Just as everything started to fade away, the brown bat was ripped off of me. I caught a glimpse of my hero. A boy with a green streak through his hair and dragon wings on his back. Wait. Dragon wings?! That can't be...
I heard the bullies scamper for safety. I also felt myself being lifted off the ground. Looking up, I saw my saviour. A blue eye and with another tan eye. I...know him... But before I could speak his name, my world went black...
~Later~
I awoke to be in my bedroom with my mother by my side. "M-mom...?" She looked at me and smiled. "Hi baby..." Her voice was cracked. She's going to cry isn't she? I tried distracting her. "Mom...was it Kason who saved me?" "Yes...he brought you home after the fight...about 3 hours ago..." And she's crying... "Just rest again baby..." She petted my head and left, obviously about to tell everyone else that I was okay. Once again, I closed my eyes. Kason? I knew it...I just knew it...
